The awards included two in Medicine/Pharmaceuticals Packaging and one in Packaging UX. In a news article by Zenpack, out of 11,000 entries from 56 countries, Zenpack and Haptik impressed the 133 design expert judges with their joint efforts. Zenpack Co-Founder & Creative Director Leo Chao expressed gratitude for the awards, highlighting the company's focus on innovation, functionality, and sustainability.
The winning submissions featured Aura and Zenlock, two unique approaches to cannabis packaging. Aura presents an unconventional brand identity based on four cannabis strains for personalized experiences. Zenlock, the first all-paper rigid box solution in child-resistant cannabis packaging, features a simple yet effective mechanism for branding purposes.
The final award recognized Zenpack's collaboration with Brooklyn Robot Foundry to rebrand and revamp their packaging. The eco-friendly design offers limitless content combinations and incorporates the box into each project.
