Houston, TX--Bayou City Hemp Company and 8th Wonder Brewery, have joined forces to create cannabis-infused seltzers for distribution across Texas. This collaboration builds on their previous work, which led to the creation of the state's first hemp-infused seltzer in 2021.

According to a report, Flood Distribution will oversee the distribution of these THC-infused beverages throughout Texas, a significant milestone for both the beverage and cannabis industries. Kyle White, Flood Distribution's co-founder, highlighted the opportunity for clients to participate in the future direction of this expanding industry.
Available beverages include BCHC's THC-infused ranch water and paloma seltzers, 8th Wonder's Trillionaire, Lil Bit, and Wonder Water, and established offerings from other regions such as Happi, Good Feels, and Drippy. Happi president and co-founder Lisa Hurwitz expressed excitement about being the first national cannabis beverage brand to have local distribution in Texas.
The report states that the seltzers have been formulated using BCHC's proprietary technology with hemp-derived Delta 8 and Delta 9 THC to ensure compliance with Texas law. Stephen Horton, BCHC CIO, credited their Houston-based research and development lab with developing a diverse range of functional and flavorful beverages to meet the preferences of today's consumers.
Expect to find these seltzers in bars, restaurants, liquor stores, and other marketplaces in Houston, Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio starting in May.
