The band, known for uniting diverse subcultures through their music, celebrates the ongoing 30th anniversary of their classic album with this release. Produced by Miranda Pacheco and executive-produced by Surfdog/DKM, Leonard Williams, Dane Morck, and the Sunflower Pictures, the video features appearances by actors Shane Paul McGhie, Cyrus Hobbi, Doug Kampner, and Tricia Cruz.
According to Sublime, the company recently launched its official cannabis line, REEFERS by Sublime, with an exclusive 'Smoke Two Joints' two-pack of curated cannabis pre-rolls available at select Southern California licensed retail dispensaries.
"Smoke Two Joints" reinterprets a novelty song by the obscure Oregon jam-reggae group, The Toyes, into a stoner anthem. The 1992 release showcased Sublime's unique fusion of hip-hop and guitar music, influenced by acts like the Beastie Boys and Red Hot Chili Peppers. 40 Oz. to Freedom remains a quintessential album for California, embodying its diverse musical landscape.
