Pure Sunfarms Unveils Four New BC Grown Strains from its Sunlit Greenhouse

Delta, BC--Pure Sunfarms Corp., a Village Farms International, Inc. subsidiary, has expanded its product portfolio by introducing four new signature dried flower strains - Area 51, Lemon Octane, Marmalade Punch, and Knockout.

According to a Globe Newswire release, these new cultivars with distinct aromas and lineage present a spectrum of flavors ranging from fresh herbs, fruit, and citrus to spice and gas. Consumers can anticipate a rich BC bud experience with these strains, replete with fresh and flavorful profiles. The newly released strains will be accessible in whole dried flower packs and ten-pack pre-rolls.

The release noted that Area 51, a hybrid MAC-1 and Gas Cake cross, is among the new strains, boasting a potent THC content between 22-28%. Dominant terpenes limonene, caryophyllene, myrcene, linalool, and humulene impart herbaceous aromas of fresh herbs, black pepper, and gas.

Lemon Octane, a D. Burger and White Diesel cross, is an Indica strain with a THC range of 22-28% that features notes of spice, lemon rind, fresh herbs, skunky rubber, and light gas.

Marmalade Punch, a Black Cherry Punch, and D. Burger cross is another flavorful Indica strain with a 20-26% THC potency range. This strain offers aromas of candied mango, mulling spices, jelly donuts, and a light, garlicky gas finish.

The release noted that Knockout, a potent Indica cross of Face Off OG and Girl Scout Cookies, delivers a THC range of 22-28%, giving off savory, spicy, and nutty notes of black pepper, raspberry, and sweet earth.
