New York, NY--A high-end cannabis dispensary called Gotham has recently opened in New York's Bowery district at 3 East Broadway, targeting the affluent cannabis user. The two-story, 2,800-square-foot store offers a premium cannabis retail experience featuring top cannabis brands and artistically designed cannabis-related accessories.

“Our cannabis retail experience is primed for premium differentiation,” Gotham’s founder, entrepreneur Joanne Wilson, said by email, as per the release. “We are the fifth legal dispensary to open in Manhattan and tenth in the whole state. We are currently the only dispensary that pairs its premium cannabis product with sculptural and artistic cannabis-adjacent accessories.”
Gotham also carries apparel, home goods, and therapeutic CBD products from vendors like Houseplant, Edie Parker, and Rose New York.
Wilson believes that cannabis buyers are becoming more discerning and seeking sophisticated, curated lifestyle environments for their purchases. Gotham aims to be a pioneer in the legalized cannabis market, reimagining its potential in the state.
Gotham also addresses the issue of cannabis's controversial law enforcement past by partnering with STRIVE New York. This nonprofit assists individuals facing societal barriers, including those impacted by the justice system. A portion of Gotham's proceeds will go to STRIVE.
